Polygons Exploration Journey

In the Maths lesson, P4 students did a creative hands-on learning activity exploring polygons! With great excitement, everyone produced colourful origami paper, ready to craft various shapes by hand.

Students first revisited the properties of different shapes before folding their origami. Each child worked with intense focus, their discussions filled with laughter and gasps of wonder.

During the assembly phase, students experimented with combining different polygons to form more complex shapes. Through collaboration, they uncovered connections between shapes, deepening our understanding of their properties.

This activity made mathematics more engaging, and everyone is looking forward to their next hands-on learning session together!
