一堆未經雕琢的寶石
A pile of uncut gems,

有的被埋沒在沙子裏
some buried in the sand,

有的被誤以為是贗品
some were mistaken for ordinary stones,

住進那幽暗的盒子裏
residing in the dark box.

一天
One day,

盒子被寶石鑑證師發現
the box is discovered by the gem appraiser. 

鑑證師拿起寶石鑑賞
The appraiser picked up the gems for appreciation,

並一一為這些寶石命名
and named the gems one by one.

寶石得以離開死蔭的幽谷
The gems were able to leave the shadows of the valley,

在各自的領域裏發光發熱
shine in their fields respectively,

實踐「天生我才必有用」的名言
And realise the saying, "Everyone has their own unique talents."

上星期，校長替「寶石鑑證師」頒發「家中之星」獎項予各級學生，表揚學生在學業以外的優秀表現。感謝各位家長對活動的支持，讓我們齊當「寶石鑑證師」，一起發掘孩子的亮點，相信孩子，並讓孩子感受到我們的支持和鼓勵。
Last week, the principal presented the "Family Star" awards to students of all levels, recognising their outstanding performances beyond academics. We would like to thank all the parents for their support in this event, allowing us to act as "gem appraisers" together, discovering the highlights of our children. We believe in our children and let them feel our support and encouragement.
