NCS Students Service Learning Day

Mung Yeung is a multicultural community where pupils from diverse backgrounds learn and grow together daily in a joyful atmosphere.

To enhance non-Chinese speaking pupils' practical Chinese language skills in daily life while fostering community understanding of their experiences, we organised an engaging service learning activity before the Lunar New Year to strengthen school-community ties.

‘Hi, how long have you lived in Kam Tin? What facilities do you particularly like here?’

Residents were impressed by the pupils' spoken Chinese proficiency and admired their confident and articulate manner!

Other than interviews, pupils invited neighbours to join in craft activities celebrating the Lunar New Year, sharing a delightful morning together!
