The 73rd Graduation Ceremony

A Time of Farewell: Building Dreams and Taking Flight 

Classrooms, filled with laughter 

The daily chime of the bell rings in my ears 

Dreaming, yet more awake than ever

Over the past six years, every corner of this school has been filled with your laughter and the traces of your footsteps. On this day, the guests, parents, teachers and classmates present here all bear witness to your growth from P1 students to P6 graduates brimming with drive and full of dreams! Seeing you all in your graduation gowns, the Headteacher, teachers and parents—both on and off the stage—have tears welling up in their eyes.

At this moment of parting, don’t cry like I did 

This is the only lesson left

No matter how many times we’ve been apart,

this promise remains as fresh as the first.

When we reunite, our bond will be even stronger.

Should you ever recall days gone by,

whatever the circumstances, remember that we’ll meet again next year.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has accompanied the children on their journey; thanks to you, they have spent six years filled with love and cherished memories. Children, graduation is not the end, but rather the beginning of a promise. May you carry this love with you as you fly bravely into the future.
